WSP has world-recognized expertise in the Transport & Infrastructure market segment. Therefore, our team needs motivated and ambitious individuals who wish to succeed and support the development of new services for our clients in the region.
We are currently looking for experienced transport planners to join our transport planning team in Qatar.
The key objectives of the role will be;
•To provide technical expertise in the disciplines, ensuring technical excellence and first-class solutions to our clients.
•To manage projects across a wide range of transport planning areas including policy and strategy, scheme appraisal evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
•To interpret and communicate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•To manage junior staff in the delivery of transport related projects for projects across the Middle East Region.
Requirements
In order to meet the challenge you will have the following skills and experience:
To qualify for this role, you must be degree qualified and have extensive relevant in experience in transport planning and inputting to development master plans.
You will be well versed in the preparation of quality Transport Assessments, providing design advice to clients, transport planners, architects etc. Experience in a range of sectors and work types would be beneficial.
An enthusiasm for and genuine interest in Transport Planning and Engineering is essential, allowing a close fit with our highly motivated team. We are looking for someone who is able to develop within the team it continues to grow, with the opportunity that WSP can offer being significant.
