Procurement Executive

- Over all knowledge and experience in Purchase and Procurement Strategies
- Prepare and or assist to develop procurement strategy and policies
- Responsible for Tendering and POs and small Contract’s Finalizing
- Good knowledge and experience on call-off agreements and rate contracts for small and medium routine items
- Handle purchasing and procurement to ensure a seamless support and good relationships with vendors
- Create and maintain vendor list and management of entire process
- Sufficient Knowledge and Experience in preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) preparations and execute.
- Sufficient knowledge and experience in managing and completing the tendering processes until PO and/or Contract finalization
- Sufficient Knowledge and experience in preparation and finalization of PO with Relevant / required PO terms and Conditions and/or small Contracts.
- Sufficient knowledge and experience in Materials and Services in Procurement relevant to District Cooling Plant’s Operations & Maintenance and Waste Management, IT Hardware, IT Software, IT Datacenter, office stationaries, General Purchase and all kind of insurances
- Strong negotiation skills with detailed costing with optimized options
- Sufficient knowledge and experience in INCOTERMS.
- Familiar with Qatar local taxes and duties
- Sufficient work experience with Line Management and Team Work Skills.
- Maintains procurement and contract documents in systematic and auditable manner. Maintains delegated sections of Master Data within the financial enterprise system / ERP.
- Positives attitude towards implementation of effective purchase / procurement suggestions / advises as when receives from Management / Line Manager.
- Strictly adhere Procurement Policies and Procedures
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the entire procurement process
- Prepare the timeline for each task and strictly follow the deliverables.
- Purchase / procure the items within budget with effective added value costs
- Supporting of all department vide delivering the items on time or and within agreed time.
- Cost effective timely decision making for purchases / procurements.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in related field is an advantage
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Procurement and Purchases
- Certification course in Procurement preferred
- Basic knowledge and experience in Procurement and Contracts
- Good command of English in both written and oral
- Sufficient knowledge and experience in small and medium Purchase / Procurement
- Strong negotiation skills to finalize within budget including value additions
- Able to work independently to complete the given task
- GCC experience especially Qatar market is must and have minimum experience in international procurement based on INCOTERMS
- Able to work under committed deliveries with different internal department and priorities
- Knowledge and Experience in Engineering related industries especially utilities is added advantage
