Procurement Executive / Sr. Executive - Interior Fit-Out

Job description / Role

- Supervise procurement activities for timely & accurate purchase, delivery and payment
- Supervise PO process in ERP; monitor & follow up on pending approvals
- Supervise approved PO submission to concerned suppliers/ sub-contractors
- Liaise with supplier/ sub-contractor for non-deliveries, quality or breached terms & conditions
- Liaise with accounts for advance payment and payment transfer details of suppliers
- Supervise provision of all required shipping documents (COO, B/L, Invoice and packing list) for shipment dispatch
- Oversee tracking of purchased goods and services during the entire procurement cycle
- Escalate pending deliveries to procurement manager and recommend alternate suppliers to minimize delays
- Responsible for all communication with project team through procurement status reports
- Develop & maintain good relationship with suppliers & negotiate better shipment terms
- Seek shipping/ freight forwarding companies from supplying countries & negotiate rates / fees etc.
- Implement QHSE Policy and comply with Company policies, guidelines & strategies
- Recommend & highlight concerns for the management wherever essential

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 to 10 plus years in procurement of Furnishing, Interior solutions or related businesses
- 2 years of procurement experience in fit-out works is a major plus
- Degree in Engineering and/ or Master in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate & negotiate with multiple parties
- Proficient in MS Office applications

Desired profile:
- Comes with existing connections and knowledge of international suppliers for interior fit out works
- Experience in logistics process & knowledgeable on local customs standards & procedures
- Knowledge in supplier performance & evaluation is an advantage
- Good planning & organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to balance priorities, identify & address problems and meet deadlines
