Procurement Expert

Job description / Role

• Development of tender documentation and pre-qualification documentation
• Assisting with the development of evaluation templates and models
• Preparation of responses to RFCs
• Support in the development of commercial & technical evaluation methodologies
• Developing evaluation resourcing and progress documents
• Preparation of guidance documents for evaluation teams
• Preparation of pro-forma excel analysis templates for evaluation teams
• Preparation of draft report templates
• Support with project management of evaluation process
• Participate in the tender evaluation process and act as part of the wider
procurement team
• Providing support to the Projects Procurement Manager and Project Procurement
Specialist
• Accountable for managing delivery of high quality, cost effective and efficient
procurement services to Qatar Rail program in compliance with Qatar Rail
procurement codes & strategic plans.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, Commerce or similar
• Relevant professional qualification i.e. CIPS status or equivalent procurement,
project management professional qualification
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement or similar activity incorporate or public
sector.
• Experience of infrastructure/transport projects /transactions, particularly rail,
preferable.
