Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an International Security and Defence market leader who is looking to hire a Procurement Manager to join their team and provide leadership, governance and strategy deployment to meet the needs on the Qatar Programme and to work seamlessly with the UK based team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing procurement leadership and governance to ensure the effective management of all aspects of the Qatar Contract, and manage all Indirect Procurement activities.
You must be able to influence and negotiate, participate in senior level meetings and meet a wide range of customers on behalf of the company/business. Operating as the key member of the Procurement team you will provide expertise, service and support to meet all operational and strategic needs.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have procurement experience at a senior level with the relevant qualifications to match the experience in international contracting and dealing with international suppliers. You must have outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to integrate and align effectively across industry and customer boundaries to gain mutual benefits.
Solid experience in successfully leading senior level negotiations in both national and multi-national backgrounds as well as strong organisational skills and an excellent command of English is mandatory.
