Description

- Over see production process (incorporating to Oracle live) and draws up production schedule and adjust when necessary
- Ensures production is cost effective
- Works out the human and material resources
- Liaises among different department heads
- Reviews performance of subordinates
- Works with Managers to implement company's policies and goals
- Ensures health and safety guidelines in the production are followed
- Provides regular update of Production output and delivery status
- Facilitates on site visit of equipment supplier's engineers and technicians
- Monitors and supervises external service provider to ensure service completion
- Conducts regular meeting with the Line Supervisor and Assistant Production Manager to evaluate performance and to create team building
- Conducts training and motivates staff to grow other than their line of expertise
- Ensures that new recruits are properly oriented
- Encourages Line Supervisor to report section performance
- Supervises and motivates team work
- Coaches and mentors Line Supervisors and or Production staff when required
- Conducts study and analyses production flow process to maximize production at the minimum lead time
- Analyses production planning and control and engineer new techniques to improve production output

Requirements

Requirements

- Bachelor's/ University Degree in any business related course with a Printing Technology qualification
- Minimum of 10 years working experience in the field of Printing Industry of which at least 3-5 years as Production Head
- Must have technical skills in prepress, press, post press and graphics
- Knowledge in printing cost estimation
- Computer Literate (basic MS Office Applications)
