Project Associate

Job description / Role

Linum Consult’s client is a major international construction and engineering consultancy. They are currently seeking a Project Associate to support the Managers on a planned and ad-hoc basis to meet demands in workload.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Providing essential management support to Area Delivery Managers and Function Managers
• Supporting the project management activities, such as interface management, studies, and reviews
• Performing data collection, analyses, and reporting to support the initiatives to ensure the continued success of their projects in Qatar
• Managing small, short-term projects
• Coordinating with junior and mid-level members of staff
• Action tracking and following up

Requirements

PROFILE

• At least a Bachelor’s degree qualification in a relevant Engineering subject
• 2-4 years of post-graduate project experience, ideally within the civil engineering industry
• Keen to progress and develop a professional career in Engineering or Construction
• Very self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong report-writing and communication skills, particularly in English, with any Arabic language skills preferred
• Computer literate, MS Office knowledge, especially Excel
