Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Audit Expert to join our award-winning teams based in Qatar.

This critical role will be responsible for providing technical guidance/support for project audits and all related advisory services.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Conducting reviews and providing recommendations on the engineering/technical aspects of contracts/projects such as: compliance with contract conditions, stakeholders, project delivery, construction, road safety, project risks, quality assurance, quality control, health/safety/security management, environmental management, KPIs, project performance, etc.
- Evaluating and appraising the adequacy, soundness and application of operating, management and administrative controls and procedures both existing and proposed to promote effective management controls and accountability.
- Ascertaining the extent to which established policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations of the State of Qatar are being complied with.
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual and long-term audit plans, ensuring adequate coverage of all organizational and functional activities, management and operating systems, management practices.
- Developing, maintaining, and directing a comprehensive Project Audit Program.
- Perform project(s) audits.
- Counseling and guiding Project Auditors to ensure that the approved audit objectives are met, and that adequate coverage is achieved in order to support conclusions and recommendations.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes coupled with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Lead Auditor certification(s) will be viewed preferably.
