Project Control Engineer

Job description / Role

Linum Consult’s client is a large international company currently seeking a Project Control Engineer with a background in major heavy industry projects to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the Senior Project Control Engineer in the planning, monitoring, and control of project cost, schedule, and progress performance across major projects
• Ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, project objectives, and company standards
• Analysing project schedules, forecasts, and progress reports
• Ensuring accurate tracking of project performance and supporting informed decision-making
• Promoting & adhering to the company’s health & safety, environmental, energy, and quality management systems and standards

PROFILE

• Degree qualification in an Engineering subject, ideally with a relevant Professional Certification
• At least 8 years’ experience in project controls, with at least 3-5 years in major projects, ideally within the heavy industry sector
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Due to visa restrictions, our client can only consider candidates who are Western nationals
