Project Controls Manager (Infrastructure)

CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is currently seeking a Project Controls Manager from a consultancy background to join their team in Qatar on a major infrastructure construction project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading and managing the project controls team
• Developing and implementing the project controls execution strategy to achieve the contract requirements
• Developing project controls standards, policies and procedures
• Coordinating with the project management team on all aspects of project controls
• Establishing and overseeing the WBS, project master schedule, CBS, budget and project cost control
• Establishing and managing the document control process, risk management plan and change control
• Providing monthly and weekly reports, and preparing and making presentations

Requirements

PROFILE

• 10 years of experience in Planning within the construction industry, preferably in the Middle East, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Degree qualification from a recognised University in a technical subject
• Excellent technical knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major highway, road, utilities, and bridge projects
• Able to effectively monitor and analyse progress, costs and risks; identifying trends and recommending corrective actions
• Experience of using P6 and MS Office
• Strong technical knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading, and risk management techniques
• Strong communication skills
