Job description / Role
The Role:
• Working within the programme project controls core management team will be required to produce client reports, presentations and internal reports supporting the operational delivery of the programme.
• Reports to the Programme Controls Manager, works closely with the Planning, Cost and Risk Managers and has direct management of a Deputy Project Coordinator.
• Time will be split equally between producing monthly reports and developing leaner methods for collating and technically presenting programme information.
• Will be expected to interface with other departmental functions, understand their data processes and advise simpler methods where necessary.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience of major projects, ideally in the Middle East
• BSc / BEng in related subject or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of project controls planning, risk and cost control techniques and terminology
• Some knowledge of engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities
• Excellent report writing and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of planning and cost control software applications
• Advanced user of MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Working knowledge of SharePoint
• Experienced in implementing new initiatives and developing efficiencies in existing processes
