Project Director - Data Centres

Job description / Role

We are working with a client currently designing and building data centres across APAC.

Our client are searching for a data centre professional with at least 15 years of work experience in the critical space, someone working on building data centes. The location will be confirmed. The candidate must have designed and built numerous hyperscale data centres and overseen the build and MEP processes.

• The preferred candidate should come from a solid Mechanical, Electrical or building service/design delivery background with work experience in Asia ie. Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia.
• Experience building, designing and delivering large scale hyperscale data centres is essential, one should possess a strong sense business acumen, budgeting, cost management experience.
• Commissioning and installation experience and the ability to work with designers, consultants and contractors.
• Clear new build project delivery experience is essential and a stable career history is key.
• This person must have experience preferably with a consultant and a client with Hyperscale data centre project experience- new build from concept to delivery.
• Technical background, preferably a strong building service MEP design background and the ability to lead large teams.
• This is an urgent requirement.
