Job description / Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Jaidah Group for an experienced Project Manager to join our Facilities Management division. This position is key to driving our forthcoming projects forward across all our divisions. The projects you will be involved in include workshops, service centres, showrooms, and others as required.

This job will require you to manage multiple construction projects across many different locations in Qatar. You will be required to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders including Jaidah Management, contractors, consultants and other parties. You will have management responsibility of contractors within the project and later down the line MEP team within Jaidah Facilities Management. Due to the nature of the projects you will have to ensure government rules and regulations ensuring all are adhered to and all safety regulations are met. You will also be required to submit reports on a regular basis including updates on project milestones, financial status’, legal implications and payments. You will also be required to thoroughly analyses and monitor contracts, checking all technicalities and any omitted information.

Requirements

In order to be successful within this position you must have a background in Mechanical Engineering, this is necessary as further into the position you will oversee the MEP team in conjunction with the appointed Electrical Engineer. You should have 5+ years experience as a Project Manager across a variety of different projects including buildings, roads, towers, warehouses and others. You should be very familiar with project estimation, governmental regulations and engineering codes. You must also have experience using Microsoft Project, Excel and Primevera. Due to requirements of this position you should have excellent English communication and be very confident in reading Arabic.
