An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Project Manager to join one of MEA’s largest and most prestigious financial institutions in their Qatar headquarters.

Within this role, you will be responsible for assisting in establishing a group-wide PMO, developing the overall PM methodology, and managing the overall project portfolio within the group. You will also be responsible for ensuring projects are completed efficiently and within budget, and for preparing MIS reports on a continuous basis.

* Assist in developing KPI’s to keep track of the group’s overall portfolio of projects
* Assist the Group Head of PMO in all project related matters including data collection, liaison with project team
* Build & maintain a solid relationship with other departments to ensure efficient completion of ongoing projects
* Act as a centre point within the group to collate all requests for new projects ahead of approval
* Introduce and train appropriate internal parties on new project management methodology
* Assist in developing all processes and procedures as well as standards in line with group policies
* Regularly update project information through project status reports

Requirements

* Extensive experience in PMO and end to end Project Management in an international setting
* Solid track record on business-related projects within a bank or financial institution
* Experience in retail, corporate or private banking
* Background in consulting
* Excellent people skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels
* Well developed team-building and leadership skills with a hands-on mentality
* Ability to work in a multicultural and largely unstructured environment
* Project management certifications such as Prince2 or PMP
* Excellent oral and written English communication skills (Arabic an advantage)
* Bachelors degree
