Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an established Middle East business who is looking to hire a Project Manager for their system integrated automation business in Qatar.
The project is to provide an upgrade to existing systems and provide direct management of 40 staff on-site for the operations and maintenance on the facility. Duties will include handling projects within industrial controls and delivering on customers requirements whilst bringing the project in on time and on budget. You will also operate project management software (viz primavera, Microsoft projects) and draft reports and measure performance through KPIs to discuss with the client.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have hands-on experience in cost control, timely project execution, Primavera and MS projects alongside field instrumentation knowledge. You should have experience of handling consultants, vendors and clients directly and have strong relationship building skills. You should also have field industrial automation experience in the water, waste water, O & G, DC plants and ETC segments. It is essential you have a strong understanding of SCADA/PLC/RTU on multiple systems (GE, Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, semaphore).
