Project Manager – Doha, Qatar

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works with the Project Director for overall accountability and responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.
• Acts as main point of contact of the client.
• Manages and provides direction to a team of professionals including deputy PM, package and design leads, design and master planning teams.
• Coordinates and manages government related approvals.
• Attends client, project and package meetings as required.
• Records and applies lessons learned through the overall project delivery and measures their effectiveness
• Manages quality and delivery program of services provided.
• Identifies, coordinates and manages resources.
• Compiles regular reports for submission to the client and internal reporting purposes
• Prepares and presents project updates to the client as required.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Professional Engineer.
• Minimum 15 years of significant post graduate work experience.
• Extensive experience in master planning and design services, traffic impact study, site investigations, signage and wayfinding, public realm design, Architecture and lighting, strategic environmental assessment, Tender preparation and evaluation of large scale economic zones or other land development projects.
• Prior experience with approvals from government/regulatory bodies in Qatar.
• Outstanding client relationship building skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
