Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager in Doha, the Project Manager has responsibility for completing Procurement tasks for Medical Equipment, Fixtures and Furniture for a large Hospital development project. The responsibilities will include issuing RFP’s and RFQ’s to the market place based on the defined contractual agreement with the client. Will support all procurement project elements within the project to achieve timely meeting of milestones and ensuring all processes are executed in alignment with the contractual requirements and deliverables of the client. He/she will work closely with the Doha team to ensure project implementation per a schedule, while fostering a positive team environment, and collaboratively working with all client stakeholders, subcontractors Vendors and both the Canadian and Doha teams.

Key Tasks:
• Develop, execute RFQ’s/RFP to be issued to the market place while following a predefined process approved by the client
• Expedite current order with vendors, respond to vendor clarifications queries
• Lead stakeholder consultation processes for finalizing requirements
• Support the Equipment Commissioning process through communication with the Commissioning team to achieve a seamless handover from procurement to Commissioning

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years Project Management experience preferably in Medical Equipment
• Minimum 5 years in the Healthcare procurement field
• Must have equipment planning, procurement and commissioning experience
• The ability to coordinate multiple projects efficiently and effectively
• The knowledge and ability to assess risks and to develop and execute plans to avoid and/or contain these risks
• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, team building and consensus building skills
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work under pressure, be a self-starter and complete projects in a timely manner
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills

Other:
• Must have valid Work Visa valid until July 2017
• Must be proficient in writing, reading and speaking English
