Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- The preparation of the Facilities Management (FM) QA operating and administration manuals
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures
- Supervise all amendments and revisions to QA manuals
- Control and the distribution of all the FM quality documentation
- Monitor all quality related activities on the FM infrastructure projects or operations
- Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs
- Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings, etc. with the Project Team and to ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.
- Coordinate all inspections; monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made pas the Contract Plan and Contract Specifications.
- Coordinate with the facility Manager/ Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
- Conduct random or scheduled internal quality audits in sites.
- Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the Contract Specifications
- Coordinate with the facilities staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.
- Perform all internal and external audits on FM operations
- Follow up QA Procedures implementation.
- Communicate to respective team the QA System and monitor the implementation
- Identify non-conformances and take preventive and corrective actions.
- Lead non-conformance investigation with the relevant departments.
- Promote to the team initiatives related to Quality
- Assist in setting yearly Quality Objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
- Assists as necessary the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction of specific quality control problems and issues.
- Performs QA/QC Checks, audits and reviews
- Manage the continuous Quality training, assessment and human factors of the staff
- Maintain the Quality file system
- Performs all other duties, tasks and initiatives contributing to the success of the company

Requirements

- Preferably preferably residing in Qatar.
- Skills: Computer literate; problem solving skills; people skills; able to work unsupervised; able to work as a team; must be able to speak and write English, able to prioritize work; good report writing skills; good communication skills.
- Internal Communication : Supervising and Management Develop and maintain the QA Plan and existing Manual and developing IMS Manual
- Knowledge in SFG20 standard for maintenance (advantage)
- Knowledge in British Institute of Cleaning Science BICs (advantage)
- Ability to prepare and undertake technical presentations.
- Consultants, Contractor PM, CM, & HSE, Developer Contractors,
- External communication : Consultants, Suppliers, Manufacturers, Government bodies, Ministries, Training Bodies, Suppliers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical
- Training in ISO 50001 (Energy Management System.)
- IRCA approved lead auditor training ISO 9001.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in QA/QC wherein 5 years in FM or construction.
- Preferably with experience as QA/QC in GCC.
