QA/QC Engineer - Doha, Qatar
A unique opportunity to work on one of the biggest highway programs in the region in a diversified team of Engineers! We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to join one of our Highways projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will work as an integrated member of the Construction Supervision team.
Enabling greater mobility in Qatar with shortened travel times and improved public safety, the Highways projects are being supervised by our expert design and construction supervision team. We are looking for a professional who will ensure client satisfaction and help strengthen our project delivery capabilities.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Manage overall quality control of Construction Contractor’s output in terms of ITPs in liaison with HME’s inspectors
• Involvement where required in Work Inspections, Material Inspections, Mockup Inspections and Factory Visits
• Contribute to HME reviews of ITPs, Method Statements and NCRs
• Work in liaison with Construction Contractor to close NCRs issued to the Construction Contractor by HME
• Carry out audits of Construction Contractor quality procedures on the project
• Carry out internal Audits of HME as Construction Management and Supervision Consultant on the project
• Manage overall quality process of HME procedures.
• Maintain and update PQP and manage Construction Contractor to maintain and update CQP
• Work in liaison with Employer’s QA/QC manager to close procedural NCRs issued to HME by the Employer
• Contribute to QA/QC section to HME’s monthly report
Requirements
• Engineering Degree
• At least 10 years of work experience in highway project
• Experience working in Civil construction works with prior experience in QA QC rol
