Employment: Full Time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitors the construction contractors’ quality-assurance/quality-control (QA/QC) programs and conducts detailed audits to assess the level of compliance with the QA systems, procedures, and related-quality activities. Monitors and audits the quality control (QC) activities, set forth in the QA program, to confirm that products or services provided are in accordance with client quality requirements.
- Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site.
- Interprets design plans and specifications to verify the work performed in accordance with the contract documents.
- Produces activity reports as necessary to ensure that all QC activities have been fulfilled.
- Inspects and monitors piling installation to ensure location and bearing.
- Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the QA/QC Manager.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- BSc/BEng Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Registered as Civil Engineer with professional engineering body.
- At least 8 years of experience in the field of Health and Safety. Minimum of 2 years GCC experience on High Rise Building projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Knowledge of current Civil Engineering technology and its effective use on the project.
- Extensive experience in Inspections of work and review of contractors' shop drawings.
- Experience in Microsoft applications. Familiar with project management tools and/or software.
