Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We require a qualified candidate to work with the team of Quantity Surveyors, under minimal supervision, in aspects of Quantity Take-off, BOQ preparation, and costing (when capable), contribute during tender preparation in terms of organizing and consolidating documents, assist in the preparation of variation orders, and payment applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review Contract Drawings and Specifications;
• Take-Off Quantities of Contract Items and compare against quantities based on latest designs;
• Consolidate site reports and analyse data accordingly;
• Provide support to Project Control Department on activities/tasks related to Variations;
• Analyze and verify variation claims as submitted by various subcontractors;
• Prepare evaluation reports regarding collected data and submit to Tender Manager;
• Assist in the preparation of preliminary works schedule for Tendering Purposes

Requirements

• BS Civil Engineering/HND in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Minimum three (3) years Gulf Experience; 6 years overall
• Must be in Qatar with NOC, otherwise will not be considered
• Basic to Intermediate Primavera/MS Project Skills;
• Minimum Intermediate competence on AutoCAD and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
