Job description / Role
Responsibilities:
• Leading purchasing process for minor work-related services and spares
• In-charge of coordination all Purchasing requirement of the Client
• Commercial Analysis of suppliers’ quotations (Quantity, unit cost, delivery time, Warranty, etc.)
• Coordination with Operations team and obtaining technical recommendations.
• Timely recommending to Client the most economical and advantageous prices for the site requirements based on Commercial and technical recommendations
• Maintaining Logs related to all purchasing process and making sure it’s updated based on the latest information available.
• Timely review, negotiate and agree on the purchasing logs with the FMCs.
• Preparation of Monthly reports in relation to the ISF Purchasing activities for the relevant month.
• Overseeing the Store Operation
• Coordinating with the Store Team with regards to the Store daily Transactions ensuring the smooth operation of the Store in relation to its function of receiving, storing, releasing of Spare part materials as required by the Project.
• Preparing the store procedures and workflows in coordination with other teams.
• Ensure that all store transactions are inline with approved procedures and workflows.
• Weekly review of the Store Transactions and all documents are properly filed and logged
• Knowledge and experience in Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software/systems. Knowledge and experience in QFM are an advantage.
• Checking weekly Store transactions in CAFM System making sure that the information matches the one reflected in the Store Stock Card.
• Preparation of Monthly reports in relation to the Store transactions for the relevant month.
• Knowledge and experience and space management, QHSE aspects related to the store management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering. The required education is preferred to be quantity surveying or related certificate.
• Must have10 years minimum of experience with Facility Maintenance Background.
• Experienced in of CAFM system.
• Preferred Filipino or Sri Lankan Nationality, locally available in Qatar.
• Able to create patch orders to buy any required materials and spare parts.
• Able to communicate with suppliers and get quotations as required.
• Able to do techno- commercial evaluation of received quotes.
• Able to upload purchased parts in CAFM and run monthly audit report.
• Able to manage the store team.
• Well organized, have good communication skill and team player.
Salary:
QAR
8,000 to 10,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
