Job description / Role
Attend the Tool Box Meetings, and apply their content.
Ensure team members have understood methods of working and Safety briefings.
Take all necessary steps to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow the Project's EHS guidelines.
Follow Superintendant's instructions.
Follow the site working hours.
Build as per Design drawings.
Assist the Management team to monitor and coordinate construction activities ensuring safe, cost-effective, high quality performance, including field supervision.
Enforce provisions of Labor Agreements ensuring communication of same to employees.
Provide practical support to Track Teams.
Interface with other Track and Sub System teams as required.
Review and record individual employee attendance records.
Monitor material usage and proper controls to minimise wastage.
Record daily diary report for accuracy and usage.
Raise any technical and Safety issues as required.
Attend Company briefings as required.
Requirements
Light rail/metro construction projects.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Track construction at foreman/team leader level.
Good knowledge of reinforced concrete construction.
Experience in site report writing.
Valid certification for using small powered tools (rail saw, rail drill, stressing equipment, etc...).
Ability to speak and complete reports in English.
Full understanding of top down and bottom up concrete track construction process.
