Rixos Doha Qetaifan Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height. Recruitment Manager /Assistant Talent & Culture Manager This position is responsible for recruitment, on-boarding of team members provide administrative support in the Talent & Culture function to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Talent & Culture area of responsibilities and assisting the Talent & Culture Director in the smooth running of the Talent & Culture function within the hotel ensuring best practice is followed at all times

What you will be doing:

- Responsible for maintaining and managing of online recruitment platform
- Responsible for liaison with external agencies and organizing recruitment fairs actively
- Ensure all recruitment and onboarding documents are managed and processed in a timely fashion
- Communicate with and respond to all enquiries in relation to recruitment and onboarding of Team Members
- Use systems to maintain and update all HR documents in relation to recruitment and onboarding
- Other tasks as directed by the T&C Director with in his/abilities
- Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
- Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire )
- Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting)
- Research and choose job advertising options
- Advise department managers on interviewing techniques
- Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
- Developing a Recruitment Database in order to meet the requirements of the organization
- Counsel hotel personnel as and when needed in areas such as career planning, training and development and employee relations
- Investigate and review all disciplinary actions to ensure the actions are complying with the labor law, hotel rules and regulations.
- Discuss with department heads an appropriate action and recommend the final results in consultation with the Talent & Culture Manager
- Maintain a good working relations with all departments and all professional external contacts
- Develop and implement recruitment procedures and strategies to attract the most qualified candidates for position vacancies in the hotel
- Analyze the hotel manpower requirements
- Coordinate with the hiring managers on the recruitment of qualified personnel based on approval by the divisional head and General Manager, following established standards, policies and procedures
- Conduct recruitment and exit interviews
- Maintain good working relationships and partnerships with recruitment agencies / sources
- Conduct performance review and manages performance issues that arise within the team
- Constantly monitor team members performance, attitude and degree of professionalism
- Review and update Talent & Culture policies and procedures and other human resources materials
- Monitor present and future trends in the local labor situation, social legislation and make recommendations to the management
- Monitor the administration of the Performance Appraisal Program and act in an advisory capacity to department heads in such process
- Ensure that all employees comply with the hotel policies and procedures as well as government regulations pertaining to employment practice
- Prepare and submit periodic Talent & Culture reports to management
- Provide administrative support to the T&C Manager and other managers throughout the recruitment and job advertising process
- Develop, conduct maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Experience in managing diverse candidate portfolio including handling of recruitment agencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management / Hotel Management.
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Management / Recruitment experience.
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel & Word & Taleo
- Strong team player with excellent leadership skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to make decisions while handling numerous projects at one time
