Regional Sales Manager - Measurement & Analytical - Qatar

Emerson is excited to announcing an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Northern Region Team, based out of Qatar or Kuwait.

The Primary purpose of the role is to manage, sustain and grow our Measurement & Analytical Business in Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait & Jordan. To do this you will be required to lead and manage the Northern Region Measurement & Analytical Sales Engineers in the respective countries and work very closely with our Local Business Partners. You will also be expected to liaise with other Business Units to achieve agreed business goals by selling and supporting Measurement & analytical Solutions into existing accounts whilst generating new business within the geographical territory.

Role & Responsibilities
* Promote the sale of MEAS products & solutions within Northern Region (Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq & Jordan) geographical sales area ensuring consistency with Automation Solutions goals and business drivers for demand creation and YOY growth
* Engage in all Strategic Project Pursuits and effectively use all available tools (MEAS Sales Tools, PATT, Strategic Account Plans, Site Plans etc.) to improve our project pursuit success.
* Work closely with all Country Leaders as well as Regional GM to coordinate Rosemount Sales Growth Plans In conjunction with the Local Business Partners, manage the key accounts to increase scope and business levels
* Understand customer business drivers & goals and keep up-to-date with customer's business situations.
* Work effectively with the Local Business Partners to help maximize MEAS and Emerson Automation Solutions potential within the area.
* Utilize the PPVVC, Strategic Selling, Sales Negotiations and Sales Presentations processes
* Prepare, manage and be held accountable for annual budget by customer/product/value
* Engage and be responsible with the POR process (monthly), Budget Planning, Quarterly & Mid- Year Review and Reporting Process
* Develop knowledge of competitor activity within the area
* Keep up-to-date with developments and trends in products, industries and market conditions
* Liaise with Product Team and other Regional Managers to prioritize effort and share knowledge on applications, products, Site Plans & Blue Sheets information and ensure customer service levels are of the highest standard.
* Manage new product launches
* Maintain and distribute price lists
* Ensure adequate literature and documentation levels are maintained
* Work with Business Unit and Marketing Communications to prioritize publicity and advertising activities
* Assist with product field tests and effectively manage product recalls
Promote the product by participating in product lectures, presentations to customers, industry conferences etc.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you should possess a Bachelors Engineering Degree in one of the following disciplines (Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical)

You should also be able to demonstrate previous success in a Client Facing Sales Role where you had a focus on Measurement & Analytical Automation Instrumentation.
