Reinforcement Manager

Job description / Role

My client a leading international contractor has an urgent requirement for a Reinforcement Manager to supervise all of its steel fixers on its Qatar projects.

Requirements

Suitable candidates should fulfill the following criteria.

- Preferably from a trades background, steel fixer or shuttering carpenter with strong experience with rebar.
- Minimum 20 years experience on large Civil and Building projects.
- Minimum of 5 years as a steel fixing foreman or charge hand.
- Previous Middle East experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be able to read drawings and rebar schedules for complex structures.
- Must be willing to get hands on to demonstrate the correct methods and sequence of works.
- Will have to mentor workers and increase their productivity and efficiency.
