Job description / Role
• Understanding of laboratory safety, biosafety, and hazards.
• Instrument and supplies management.
• Competent in broad range of molecular techniques and methodologies
• Able to work as part of team, but also independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communications skills both written and oral
• Drafting a protocol or SOP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in a research/clinical laboratory environment.
• Knowledge and experience in basic microbiology techniques.
• Knowledge and experience in molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction and quantification, end point PCR,
real-time PCR, gel electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing.
