Job description / Role
An opportunity to work for a leading European engineering consultancy to be based in their offices in Doha, Qatar.
They require a Bridge Resident Engineer with specialization in Cable-Stayed Suspension Bridge works.
My clients on-going project is titled Lusail and is Located in Doha, Qatar.
Below is a brief Job Description, which may be required:
• Responsible for overall field contract management, administration and coordination
• Ensure that the contractor's works are monitored and controlled in accordance with design specifications and Contract Documents
• Ensure monitoring on the quality of materials and workmanships installed, operated and maintained
• Liaise with Client, Project Management and Contractor for resolution of project issues, in addition to concerned Authorities when required
• Supervise, review, monitor and report on progress
• Liaise with all parties for site safety
• Monitor assigned staff and implement on site procedures to assist them performing their work efficiently
• Maintain awareness of contracts financial status
• Give final approval to works and arrange handover
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have at latest 15 years of experience, out of which minimum 3 years in GCC, and holds minimum - Bachelors degree in Civil from an internationally credited/renowned university.
