Restaurant Manager

An exciting and creative international cuisine restaurant in a high-end part of Doha, Qatar is looking for a Restaurant Manager to take charge of the following responsibilities:

• Creating strategies to achieve the provided target.
• Organize marketing activities, such as promotional events, community events and discount schemes.
• Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week/month, including staff control, food control and sales.
• Plan, control and coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Train, manage and motivate staff.
• Respond to customer queries and complaints. Take immediate required corrective measures. Meet and greet customers, organize table reservations and offer advice about menu and beverage choices.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
• Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash.
• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
• Ensure good coordination between floor and the kitchen staffs.
• Conduct pre and post-briefing.
• Participate in inventory taking on the scheduled time.
• Managing the delivery team and the maintenance of the vehicles.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role the right applicant will have:

• Previous experience as a 'Restaurant Manager'
• Experienced in International Cuisine
• A highly presentable manner with training in hospitality
• Able to obtain a visa in Qatar
