Job description / Role
Are you a passionate Restaurant Manager with a wealth of experience within French, Italian or Mediterranean cuisine? Charterhouse is working with a leading hospitality group in Qatar who is looking to hire a Restaurant Manager for their European casual dining restaurant. Our client is looking to hire a passionate individual who can be the heart of the team, bringing a fresh experienced perspective to an established team.
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant. You will be a proficient and strong manager of the team of 60 people, empowering your team to always strive for their best. The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator, someone who is calm in all situations, have an outgoing personality and a hands-on approach, being someone who will meet and greet customers, organize table reservations and offer advice about menu and beverage choices.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills for diplomatically handling staff and customers along with the ability to work under pressure in the challenging environment that is restaurant management. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within Qatar.
