Opening mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Restaurant Supervisor - All Day Dining

This position is responsible for the supervision of the service team and the flow of food and beverage to maximize guest satisfaction and department profits. To ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the Food & Beverage Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus, directly impacting the delivery of the experience.

What you will be doing:

- To ensure all department checklists i.e., opening and closing checklists e complete any required follow up action is initiated, and forms/records are filed.
- To deal with any internal or external guest requests and issues that are beyond the scope of their front-line colleagues.
- To assist and support food and beverage inventory, ordering and stocking.
- To supervise F&B associates, hostess, bartender/barista effectively.
- Ensure that a high level of food safety management and precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) are adhered to in the department.
- Monitor food standards in all-day dining restaurant.
- Positively always maintain a professional brand image to all concerned stakeholders.
- Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests.
- Accommodate and document special requests in an accurate and efficient manner.
- To listen actively and respond to guest feedback and assess and review guest satisfaction index results and trends to continuously improve and exceed guest expectation.
- Oversee all services areas of the restaurant and day-to-day operations.
- Manage and supervise F&B associate, hostess, bartender/barista performance to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards.
- To display a friendly, helpful, and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with guests and colleagues to support day-to-day operations.
- Always maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Attend all briefings, meetings, and training as assigned by management.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum 1-year experience in the same position in a 5-star hotel
- High school degree
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant accounting systems
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
