Job description / Role
Required to join a develop in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible establishing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program as well as coordinating and managing corporate risk management programs and activities. Responsibilities include
Development and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management strategy and policy, and develop and implement the relevant procedures, processes and tools.
Support in the development of risk treatment strategy and plans, and support in implementing them in a timely manner in collaboration with concerned stakeholders and monitoring their effectiveness.
Monitor the compliance and effectiveness of the risk policy and processes and prepare reports on results.
Define and quantify the risk appetite and tolerances, and provide recommendations to the Corporate Strategy and Planning Director for validation.
Collaborate with stakeholders, as appropriate, to identify appropriate mitigation strategies for handling risks which may include but not limited to early warning signals, proactive measures, preventive procedures, etc.
Conduct risk assessments, and identify and define potential risks that may have an impact on the business
Support in evaluating risks against established criteria, report and escalate as appropriate, and support in taking the appropriate steps to manage risks efficiently and effectively.
Establish and maintain the risk register that includes records of all risks and actions taken
Salary:
QAR
20,000 to 25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Operations or related field is required.
A certification in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution (i.e. Risk Management, Risk Management and Mitigation, RIMS - CRMP) is preferred.
Fluent in Arabic
Experience of working within construction, real estate, development companies in a Risk Management capacity
Proficient in Microsoft Office
