ROV Supervisor (Seaeye Cougar System)

Job description / Role

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced ROV Supervisor to manage and operate the Seaeye Cougar system for light work class ROV operations. The ideal candidate will have the necessary expertise and hands-on experience to lead the ROV team and ensure the safe and efficient deployment of the system.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise ROV Operations
• Manage day-to-day operations of Seaeye Cougar ROV system for subsea tasks.
• Ensure operational safety and efficiency during missions.
• Oversee ROV launch and recovery operations.
• Provide guidance to ROV technicians and crew.

Team Leadership
• Lead, train, and mentor ROV team members.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders on-site.
• Ensure team compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Reporting & Documentation
• Ensure all mission data and logs are accurately recorded.
• Prepare detailed daily reports on operational performance.
• Maintain communication with shore-based teams and provide updates.

Equipment Management
• Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of the Seaeye Cougar system.
• Monitor ROV systems and equipment during missions to ensure functionality.

Requirements

Experience
• Proven experience operating the Seaeye Cougar system.
• At least X years of experience in ROV operations and supervision.

Technical Skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of ROV systems, controls, and equipment.

Certifications & Training
• Valid ROV Supervisor certification.
• Familiarity with offshore operational standards and safety procedures.

Safety Compliance
• Full understanding of subsea safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Preferred Skills
• Previous experience in Qatar or similar offshore environments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
