Sales Manager / Engineer - Dewatering

ACTION is expanding and as such we have the need to add another highly driven sales person join one of the best sales team in the country! This is an ‘Action packed’ position, where your natural hunting skills will assist you to source out new and profitable opportunities developing a solid portfolio of clients. Using a consultative approach, combined with your technical knowledge, you will be able to accurately and quickly assess the Dewatering requirements and provide sound solutions which exceed the client’s expectations every time. You will thrive in an environment where you are responsible for organizing people and equipment, ensuring that we deliver our promises on time every time. This is a challenging role where the ability to communicate with all levels along with working under pressure to meet tight deadlines is essential. This role sits within our ‘Ground Water Control Division’ which is one of three divisions in our business and in return for your hard work and striking performance, we will ensure that you are provided with a competitive salary along with ongoing training and development.

Requirements

Minimum Requirement:

Degree or formal qualification in Engineering. (Civil, Geo-technical, Mechanical). Proven sales experience with exposure to business development, account management, quoting, tenders, proposals, client presentations and negotiations. Minimum of five years experience in engineering of pump and dewatering systems. High motivation level, self starter with strong leadership and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel.

Desired:

A good working knowledge and understanding of both pumps and pumping applications. It would also be advantageous to have a working knowledge of diesel engines. Strong knowledge of Geology, De-watering Works.
