Are you an ambitious science teacher wanting to experience another countries culture whilst still earning?
Here at Alderwood recruitment we are searching for the perfect candidate to join our client in Doha, Qatar.
This would be taking the role of a science teacher in an all boys school.
You would be expected to:
- Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, differentiated curriculum for students.
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment
- Set high expectations for pupils' behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline.
- Ensure that the current requirements of examination boards are met.
The academic year starts from August and runs through to the middle of June, giving students and teachers half of June and the whole of July off.
Our client is offering the ideal science teacher an amazing chance to immigrate cost free to Doha, Qatar.
They will pay for all travelling costs for yourself and belongings, any required visas and to top it off you will be staying rent and bill free in their provided accommodation.
Upon arrival in Qatar you will be given a 2 week induction including a tour of Doha showing you the markets, eateries, shops and anything else you would need.
You will be offered a salary of 10,000 - 12,000 Qatari Rial per month, this equates to between £2249.12 & £2698.95 GBP.
One of the benefits of working in Doha is there would be no income tax deductions would be made.
Interviews for this role would be over 2 parts, both of these would be held either over skype or MS teams.
Requirements
Our client has requested the following:
- Male teacher
- MUST have a degree in science
- MUST have one of the following PGCE, QTS, CertEd
- MUST have at least 3 years experience in this role
- Single status
- Native English speaker
