Job description / Role
• Assessing and continuously monitoring student progress.
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to classes.
• Instruct students on interpreting literature.
• Assign books to read, including classics and contemporary novels.
• Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
• Create instructional resources for use in the classroom.
• Create positive educational climate for students to learn in.
• Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions.
• Using a modern and dynamic teaching approach which allows students to communicate easily using the English language.
• Researching and devising entertaining, amusing, interesting, creative, productive lessons for students.
• Assessing and recording pupils progress by setting and marking coursework and examinations.
• Participating in staff meetings and extra-curricular activities.
Requirements
• Contract type: Full Time
• Contract term: Contractual (renewable based on performance)

• Qualifications: Subject Degree and / or PGCE
• Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience at KS 5
