Security Manager

Job description / Role

• Supervise and oversee the assigned Security Team to ensure that they comply with the Group’s Security Policies, Procedures and Standards at all times.
• Take rounds on the facility to keep check on security staff on what they are doing and take action.
• Conduct surprise visits to location to check Security on how attentive they are in restricting customer or staff in entering the premises during non-working hours.
• Oversee the Security Team to properly use the Log Books to write all security related status, situations and events; Question them if anything found missing.
• Ensure the Security Team conduct inspections of all Staff and their baggage, during entry, exits and test drives.
• Provide continuous orientation and training to the Security Team assigned to the respective facilities on Company security policies and practices; coordinate with the Security Agency on providing other required training.
• Initiate actions against any security staff not following their role or Security Policies, Procedures and Standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years work experience in Security.
• Knowledge in Safety and Security standards and procedures.
• With Driver’s license in Qatar.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good Communication Skills in English.
• Ability to use inter-personal styles and methods to reduce tensions or conflict.
• Good Coordination skills.
• Disciplined and having good interpersonal skills.
• Good Leadership skills.
• Well dressed and groomed
