Security Manager - Rail

Job description / Role

A large international consultancy with strong global presence is involved in some of the largest infrastructure projects and now they have an urgent requirement to recruit qualified Security Manager who is also a qualified Auditor with extensive experience in implementing security policies and procedures.

Main responsibilities:

- Develop and implement security strategies, policies and procedures
- Ensure all the security plans and procedures are developed appropriately for auditing
- Develop communication strategies for the case of an emergency and ensure these communication strategies are implemented properly
- Manage the allocated budget
- Ensure that the policies and procedures are in line with the general business needs
- Provide continuous advice to all staff regarding security during an emergency or crisis situations
- Promote the safe culture across the organization
- Represent the organization in any Safety related conferences or forums

Requirements

- BSc in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- Extensive experience in process & procedure implementation
- Must be a qualified auditor
- Fluent in English language
