Job description / Role
As senior art director, your primary function is to conceptualize creative solutions that effectively communicate the strategic intent for each assigned project. You will lead studio members to execute your vision, and you will ensure that vision is successfully packaged, aiming to exceed client’s expectations.
Work on the creative development of assigned projects and deliver a high quality product. • Work closely with Account Leads to ensure you are briefed correctly and have all the tools you need to successfully execute an assigned project. • Work closely with the Production Leads to ensure your ideas are feasible on time and on budget. • Regularly update the Account Manager and Studio Manager on the status of each project. • Lead your assigned studio teammates and ensure your creative vision is successfully executed. • Perform miscellaneous tasks, as directed by the Group Creative Director Verify creative briefs upon receipt and Sign off on them. • Brief your designated studio team and oversee their progress. • Answer to any inquiries related to the creative development of your assigned project. • Approve all creative elements generated by your team members for your assigned project. • Sign off on the hours spent by your dedicated team on your assigned projects by initializing their time sheets.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role within an agency environment and a good understanding of working with well-known brands. Above all however you need to be a skilled digital art director, amazing at generating creative concepts, working with story and mood boards, have solid digital experience and an impressive portfolio to present.
