Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As a Senior Associate – Collection and Dispute Management you will be responsible for migrating the work stream into a Shared Services Center globally and you will be accountable for collections and Dispute management process for all Averda entities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitor the assigned portfolio; identify delinquent accounts and promptly call the customers to prevent the account to become past due.
- Execute the Collection & Dunning tasks according to the agreed time frames & SLA’s to avoid litigations.
- Produce regular weekly/monthly reports to show performance/trends etc. to bring in continuous process improvement.
- Immediately engage the management team when identifying any significant account deterioration and any critical disputes which might be a potential bad debt account.
- Take ownership of customer accounts which are in dispute, in order to establish the correct level of outstanding debt.
- Provide comprehensive range of dispute resolution services to corporate, government and commercial clients, both national and international to keep the Daily Sales Outstanding in control.
- Oversee deposit reconciliations to the general ledger, lockbox and records and other month-end procedures to ensure smooth close.
- Support the Monthly and Annual closing activities (e.g. balance confirmations) for timely closure.
- Conduct trainings where ever required and update process SOPs.
- Proactively look for improvements to the current collections and dispute management process to bring in continuous improvement in the collection process.
- Audit Checks and verify that transactions in Accounts Receivable process comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Provide coordination for Junior Associates or Associates assigned under supervision by OTC Manager

PERFORMANCE MEASURES/SUCCESS CRITERIA:
Meeting and exceeding the Key process indicators and Service Level Agreements assigned for the team

Requirements

- Excellent written and spoken English
- Fast typing & data entry skills
- Extensive Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge in any ERP Applications like Oracle, SAP , Peoplesoft etc.
- Preference would be given to candidates who can speak Arabic
