Job description / Role
Our client an international consultancy has an urgent requirement for a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in the design of wet utilities for large infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected design practice and contribute towards the success of the department. Will be asked to lead a team and deliver projects in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
Suitable should fulfil the following criteria:
* Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Grade A, MMUP Civil Engineering registration in Qatar
* Chartered membership of an internationally recognised professional body.
* At least 15 years wet utility design experience on large projects.
* At least 3 - 5 years experience in Qatar with a good knowledge of the design and construction codes.
* A good working relationship with Qatari Local Authorities with expert knowledge of local procedures.
* Strong software skills in relevant design programmes.
* Strong communications skills with client and team members.
* Advantageous to have a PM qualification with strong leadership skills.
Preference will be given to candidates located in Qatar and available within 1 month.
