Senior Construction Lawyer (Potential Partner) - Dispute Focused

Employment: Full Time

A rather rare but much sought after position has been made available to Construction lawyers looking to join a top tiered Dispute practice in the Qatar.

The role is with a UK international law firm who is looking to bolster their Doha, Qatar, office with this hire. This is to bolster their presence and offered in the contentious arena (which is already band 1) with a primary focus in Construction and Engineering.


Construction lawyers are expected to have trained in a top tiered law firm (Magic Circle, White Shoe, Regional etc). Candidate need to have some level of similar experience whilst in practise and expected to have:

- 6PQE+ exp
- Confident with dispute matters in the GCC
- Have advised clients on claims worth several million
- At a stage where they can sell manage but able to take direction when needed.
- Ideally be able to communicate in Arabic & English.

This is a role that will propel most individuals’ careers to the top of their profession. With that in mind work ethic and personality will be considered with any candidate.

The salary for this type of role will be measured at a London International rate.
