CONTRACTS MANAGER (COMMERCIAL) – OIL & GAS SECTOR
Basic Salary $13-16,000 + Camp Living , Medical & Flights

International Contractor is looking to hire a well qualified Contracts Manager that has 20 Years Post Graduate Experience. The right candidate will have clear GCC experience working within a Petro Chemical / Oil & Gas Projects. Important to note this is a SINGLE STATUS posting due to the remote location & Camp Living.

Key aspects that need to be considered before applying :

This is a single status role – Non- negotiable (Think remote oil & gas facility in the remote desert and you won’t be disappointed)
It’s a remote camp location and its a 6 Day working week
It’s a rotation of 105 Days on then 15 Days off . Flights & transportation are provided for each trip
This role is based in Qatar so you must have the ability to legally obtain a visa with no prior issues in the country

DESCRIPTION
This Contracts Manager will have a clear 20 Year + Track Record within Construction & Civil Engineering . Most recently our client wants to see 5 Years’ experience within the Oil & Gas Sector in the Middle East. You will of held a Contracts or Claims Manager role for either a Contractor or Oil & Gas Client.

Based on a very remote project you will be leading a team of QS’s & Engineers to manage the Contracts and Claims department. You will be the Project Directors right hand and will have full control of all commercial & contractual correspondence.
You will understand the dynamics of a Civil & Buildings Contractor working within the LNG Arena.
Our client is looking for someone commercially savvy that can work closely with people whilst protecting ones interests.

Salary:
USD 13,000 to 16,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The Contracts Manager will need to fit the following criteria as set out by our client.

• Degree qualified in engineering, quantity surveying, commercial management, law or other relevant fields
• Ideally chartered status with Claims & Arbitration exposure
• 18- 20 years’ minimum experience within Oil & Gas / LNG Construction New Build Projects
• Previous oil and gas experience or be able to demonstrate a track record in a Commercial , Contracts or Claims Capacity
• Are you sharp and able to protect the contractors best interests and see opportunities to make money
• Able to lead a multinational team, drive , manage and motivate . Able to demonstrate good communication and team work skills
• English needs to be this individuals first language with a Degree from a Western University
