Job Purpose
As a senior member of this team, you will play an active role in the facilitation and maintenance of all Qatargas Crisis Management readiness, response and recovery policies and procedures

Job Context
The Qatargas Crisis Management Team is responsible for the strategic development, sustainment and effective deployment of the company’s Crisis Management system. It maintains constant system readiness to ensure the company’s complete ability to strategically respond and recover from any type of incident or emergency. All activities of this team are undertaken in full compliance with company’s Health, Safety and Environment and Quality (HSEQ) policies as well as national and international standards governing crisis, emergency and disaster management protocols.

Key Job Accountabilities
• Leading the validation of assigned Asset Emergency Response Plans, Asset Incident Response Teams and related documents to ensure strategic crisis management information is consistent and up to date.
• When applicable and through the use of established procedures, lead and manage the delivery of post-incident reviews and lessons-learned forums ensuring that items addressed are properly analyzed and considered for further scrutiny and review at higher levels of management.
• Actively contributing to the instruction of established incident management training to all Tier-2 Asset Incident Response Teams and corporate Crisis Management Team including the monitoring of performance efficiency and skill gaps.
• Responsibility to ensure the operational functionally of the Emergency Notification System within assigned assets and its ability to meet any emergency incident within QatarGas.
• Responsibility to ensure all assigned physical and virtual Incident Command Centers (ICC) in QG conform to the established operational functionality protocol for all Tier 2 and Tier 3 incidents in addition to addressing identified issues/gaps arising from the submission of scheduled inspections and ready-state reports
• Responsible for the execution of the bi-weekly Duty Response Manager (DRM) program and ensure that Incident Management Teams remain qualified to deploy to through on-ongoing simulations and established training protocols
• Managing the final submissions of reports on completed exercises and drill validations in addition to analyzing any recurring critical and non-critical action items for frequency and established impact in order to contribute to the overall reduction of operational risk
• In cooperation with the team, leading the Tier 2 and Tier 3 crisis management exercise program for assigned assets and supporting the required coordination of all necessary resources to deliver its success.

Requirements

Primary Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Engineering, Fire Safety & Risk Management or equivalency
• Certified/ Associate Emergency Managers (CEM/ AEM) Designation or equivalency
• Incident Command System Level 100-200-300-400 certification or equivalency
• Incident Command System Train-The-Trainer Certification for ICS 100, 200 and 300 or equivalency
• Business Continuity qualification (CBCI or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in crisis and emergency management at a senior level
• Expert knowledge in Microsoft suite of programs
• Mastery in both written and verbal use of the English language

Secondary Qualifications
• Prior experience practicing in the Middle East
• Understanding of various crisis management disciplines including energy sector, IT and security-based issues
• LNG Spill Control & Fire Suppression or equivalency
• NFPA 1072 Awareness & Operations (ProBoard) or equivalency
• Mass Casualty Incident Management Course Intermediate Level or equivalency
• Institute of Risk Management accreditation or equivalency
