Senior Dealer – FX & Options

Job description / Role

To manage, lead and control the FX trading desk personnel to optimize foreign funding initiatives and manage foreign liquidity projections to maximize organization growth, within agreed risk parameters and with optimal levels of service. Furthermore, to lead the team toward the fulfillment in most effective and efficient basis of the desk duties in terms of getting best executed prices in desk’s financial assets i.e. Forex and Forex derivatives to deal on behalf the in best interest of the organization.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage trading desk to meet the requirement of the corporate goals financially
• Limit foreign currency exposures by using different FX instruments
• Maximize FX profits within the approved trading mandate and approved Treasury products
• To liaise with IT department to identify opportunities, design systems and improve technology for the business
• To achieve trading revenue targets

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Proven Experience as an FX Spot dealer (5-8 years) with a revenue generating track record in the sell side
• Understanding of how to help design FX Hedging Techniques and use of derivatives
• Macro-economic knowledge of currencies and central banks policies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Existing relationships with Foreign Exchange sell side accounts

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Mathematics, or related field

SKILLS
• Proficiency in Bloomberg , Reuters (Dealing & Ikon)
• Ability to analyze the markets from fundamental & technical viewpoints
• Solid quantitative skills
• Ability to write market bulletin
