Role Description:
• As a Senior Drainage Design Engineer you will collaboratively work with the Project Manager to resolve any and all design issues that arise to ensure the highest technical quality across all projects under a major roads and drainage program in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
• Managing selected components of the project, taking responsibility for resource allocation, managing subcontractors, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications.
• Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
• Providing both leadership and technical advice to project team members
• Reviewing and ensuring compliance in the components of the project for which responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies
• Liaising with the Project Manager and the client to keep informed of all developments associated with the project
• Providing direction to the project team, leading by example to achieve project goals and championing a quality, innovative, client-focused and entrepreneurial culture.
Requirements
Qualification / Requirements:
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
• Must have atleast 10 years post graduate experience
• Must have experience working on large scale design and build road and drainage projects.
• Must have experience working across foul sewer, surface water, storm water and TSE projects.
• GCC experience preferred, but not essential.
