Senior Engineer - Building Services

Looking for a Sr. Engineer - Building Services with a successful record in the delivery of power projects as Owner's Engineer (OE) during design, construction and commissioning for a power project to be based in QATAR.

The project scope includes detailed design, construction, and commissioning of substations including 400kv, 220kv, 132KV and 33KV across a number of packages.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
* Review on design calculation and drawing layout, product equipment for approval.
* Prepares budget cost includes (BOQ) and man-hour costing, for bids and awards submission.
* Project co-ordination and interfaces meeting with client, contractors, suppliers, works progress updates.
* Testing and commissioning on all equipment involved, controls and auxiliaries.
* Establishing/revising the requirements on technical specifications and technical contracts, and application of technical standards
* Design and approval of HVAC and all the other systems related to building services, supervision of site related activities from installation to testing and commissioning of equipment
* Responsible for coordination of site supervision team

Requirements

* Senior experience in transmission projects involving design, inspection, and erection of substation and associated facilities
* More than 15 Years of Experience - Design Review Knowledge.
* Should have worked for a minimum of 10 years in the capacity of senior engineer level in the relevant field and should have worked for major projects of substation & transmission systems (132kV/220/400kV systems) involving design, inspection, erection and commissioning & testing of GIS, circuit breakers, transformers and all auxiliary systems of substation etc.
* Must be fully conversant / referred all relevant international standards and shall have working experience in ISO 9000 systems.
* Shall have experience contract procedures, technical specifications, bid evaluation, and similar.
* Should have experience in factory inspections, material selection, route selection, investigation of existing transmission structures and able to evaluate required technical solutions.
* Bachelor Degree from Recognised University
