Senior Financial Accountant

Job description / Role

Lead and prepare financial statements and reports needed for a Ministry to comply with regulatory requirements. Organizes and presents financial reports to company managers. May assist with presentation of company tax filings; may provide reports and point of contact for auditors during an external audit of a company.

• Review and correct daily revenue journal.
• Control all balance sheet accounts by preparation of monthly account reconciliations and actions accordingly.
• Review the accounts payable balance to ensure accuracy and propose action and follow up to be taken to ensure a clear balance with limited over 90/120 day amounts.
• Cooperate, coordinate and communicate with other departments in matters concerning accounting related matters and internal control.

Qualtifications & Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• More than 15 years of experience in the financial field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic language.
