Role Summary:

As Senior Hydraulic Modeller working across a major roads and infrastructure project you will have responsibility of taking charge of the modelling team and its resources. You will report directly into the Senior Project Manager, providing advice and technical expertise to enhance and improve services delivery and improve your team’s technical capability.

Role Responsibilities:

• Taking charge of the modelling team in Doha and managing the available modelling resources;
• Liaising with other disciplines that affect the modelling;
• To be proactive with ideas to improve the modelling capability within the Doha office;
• Provide leadership, direction and technical expertise to the team members;
• Mentor the current modelling team members to achieve the project goals and their own career aspirations;
• Work to the current modelling protocol and ensure proper checks are in place to produce a high-quality deliverable; and
• Work collaboratively with GEC’s in Manila and Bangalore and review the work received from these offices.

Requirements

• Degree Qualified in Relevant Engineering Discipline.
• 10+ Years experience working within hydraulic modelling
• Experience managing and directing a team across a major program of work.
• Conversant with InfoWorks suites of CS (gravity) and WS (pressure);
• Knowledge of InfoWorks ICM would be an advantage;
• Fluent in spoken and written English;
• Able to write good concise modelling reports;
• Should be Client facing to discuss and resolve issues with PMC and the client
• Able to work to extremely tight and demanding deadlines.
