Job description / Role
This position is responsible for senior level planning and collaboration of strategic technology solutions for our client. He/she will ensure the technology plans are catering to the business automation demands and incorporating latest technology trends.
Detailed Description
The candidate will have a minimum 7years + telecommunications design experience in VOIP, IP Based CCTV, Local Area and Wide Area Network Systems Architecture (LAN+WAN)for IIoT and IoT projects, IP Based Intelligent Traffic Systems, IPTV, Wireless and Mobility Access Networks (3G,LTE, WiFi),
Project Areas will be:
- Healthcarea
- Sports and Retail
- Education
- Utilities
- Power Systems
- Enterprise – Corporate and Branch office solutions
- Fiber to the Home – Based on Gigabit Ethernet
Will also be responsible for elevating the skill sets of the Design Engineers in Telecommunications regarding Certification.
Requirements
It is essential that the candidate is able to write High Level and Low Level Design Documents.
- Cisco Certified CCDP or CCNP, CCNA minimum requirement
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or engineering.
Skills:
- Must have a detailed and analytical approach with hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of cutting edge technology trends and possess business acumen in planning those.
- Relevant certifications from leading technology companies.
- Must have the ability to manage stakeholders’ and senior management expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written/oral communications skills are essential.
